Everything You Need to Know About Your Container and Delivery
New (First Trip)
A "new" or "first trip" container is a shipping container that has been transported from the factory to Europe. These containers are brand new and available in various colors. During transport, which takes about a month at sea, minor signs of use may occur. After arrival and unloading, these containers are thoroughly checked for damage before being sold.
Used Cargoworthy B
A used container typically has served 10 to 15 years in international transport and shows signs of use such as rust, dents, and scratches. Nevertheless, we ensure that they are wind and watertight, with properly functioning doors and seals. With regular maintenance, these containers remain usable for many years and can be repainted if desired.
Used Cargoworthy A
A-category used container sare carefully selected and are usually the 'younger' or very nice used boxes. For a specific color or to freshen up a used container, repainting is an excellent choice. We offer a high-quality painting service, using professional paint. This way, the container looks nice again, extends its lifespan, and slows down corrosion.
How do I secure my container?
Built-in Lockbox
New containers are standard equipped with a lock box, a metal casing that shields the lock. This prevents access with a concrete shear or other burglary tools and provides an extra layer of security against theft.
Block lock
For optimal safety, we recommend a block lock, specially designed to fit in the lock box. This robust lock is resistant to break-in attempts and weather influences, ensuring that your container's contents are always well protected. Ask about it when placing your order.

Good preparation is half the work
Good preparation is essential for a smooth delivery of your container. Since this is a specialized service, obstacles or unforeseen problems may lead to additional costs for a failed delivery.
To safely place the container at your location, the truck must have sufficient access:
The access road must be at least 3 meters wide.
There should be no sharp turns or obstacles on the route.
There should be no overhead cables present at the unloading area.
The truck needs space to extend the Hiab legs of 1.8 meters for stability.
Not sure if your site is suitable for delivery? Let us know during your request so we can advise you on the best approach.
A solid ground for proper functioning of your container
A shipping container must be placed on a hard, flat surface, so it is important to prepare the location well in advance.
If the ground is too soft, the container may sink, which can cause problems when opening the doors. To prevent this, we recommend placing concrete slabs, concrete blocks, or railway ties under the corners of the container. This ensures a stable and level placement.
Please note that many trucks cannot drive over grass due to their weight. Ensure that the access road and unloading area are solid and easily accessible to guarantee a successful delivery.
